Gruppo La-Vis has set itself the mission to "Put Trentino on the Map". There are three Trentino wineries in the group: La-Vis, Valle di Cembra Cantina di Montagna and Cesarini Sforza Spumanti, which between them are completely representative of Trentino, covering every style and every indigenous grape variety, across the whole quality spectrum from every day drinking to top end wines. Gruppo La-Vis has recognised that there is a huge opportunity for Trentino's styles of pure, unadulterated wines across export markets, where there is generally not much awareness of Trentino and its wine offering.

One of the most important elements behind the group is the “Zoning” and “Quality” Projects in which La-Vis had took the lead in the region. In the mid 1980s, La Vis started a cultural revolution in the form of a “Progetto Qualità” , which was created in order to increase quality of production through all the processes in Trentino: from the vineyards to the cellar. In order for the “Progetto Qualità” to be successful, it was run parallel to the “Zoning Project”,- the scientific study of the terroir (soil/climate/labour) that characterizes the different viticultural areas.
